Again we visit a historical place. With this castle we travel to medieval East Sussex in England. Today a tourist attraction, this impressive structure forms a barely impregnable fortress surrounded by a large dug lake.

At the same time, this fortress was the living space of many people.

Today a large part of the walls are still standing but the interior was destroyed during the English Civil War from 1642 to 1649.

My rendering is not a historically perfect accurate realization (for example, the 33 chimneys and 28 aborter notches are missing) but I have tried my best and oriented myself to the reconstruction sketches of historians. So hopefully you can get very close to the historical feeling 🙂

I hope to have captured the feeling of this fortress and wish you and your heroes a lot of fun visiting this castle! 🙂
